The Playcentre Kingscourt is a brand new purpose built indoor play and party centre located on the Kells road in the atmospheric town of Kingscourt in Co. Cavan.

As a young family with 3 young children, we understand the importance of offering an affordable and enjoyable visit.

We will always remain aware of maintaining high standards here at The Playcentre. With 4 levels of play equipment, children are guaranteed a stimulating and sociable experience during their visit here.

While your kids are playing the adults can relax in our modern seating area which overlooks the play areas and serves a selection of Specialities, Italian coffees, Herbal teas and Fresh pastries as well as an extensive Hot food menu.

Playground Area

The main playground area features 5 levels of fun with a spiral slide, swings, punchbags and lots more

Baby Area

The Baby Area is designed for children under 12 months of age and is free of charge. It includes: Flashing sensory waterbed will encourage your babies to participate in tummy time, which is an important part of their development. There is also a separate ball pool area.

Toddler Area

The Toddler Area caters for children between 1 and 3 years of age. Some of its features includes:

• A moving carousel
• A flashing slide
• 3 separate areas with their own slides
• spiral slide and numerous ride on's & little tyke cars

Football Stadium

Separate to the main area is our football arena. It's a big hit with the football fanatics and older kids.

Birthday Parties

No stress, No mess. All you need to bring on the day are the kids and a cake

Options include a football party, a disco party or a princess' party.

• Parties are 2 hours long in total. Children will have 75 minutes of playtime and 45 minutes in our purpose built themed party rooms.
• A dedicated party host will look after you for the duration of your party with a mixture of dancing, music, face painting and games.
• The food consists of a meal including chicken nuggets, cocktail sausages & chips. There is also a selection of party food.
• This includes crisps, popcorn, rice crispy cakes, chocolate mallows, drinks & refills.
• Party bags for all the children going home
• A small gift for the birthday child
• A complimentary tea/coffee for the parents or guardians of the party
• Jugs of juice on arrival for the kids before the party starts.
• Table reserved for party parents
• Minimum charge for 10 children
• Platters of hot food available for adults

It's that time of year again, the months are flying by and soon the buzz and excitement of school tours will be hitting the classrooms.

To save all you teachers wracking your brains trying to find something fun and exciting to do, let us welcome your children to the one of Ireland's newest and brightest indoor playgrounds for a fun filled afternoon.

Situated on the Cavan/Meath border in the atmospheric town of Kingscourt, we are located conveniently to local attractions such as Dun Ni Ri forest park and the beautiful Cabra Castle.

The forest park boasts 565 acres across Dun Ni Ri Forest Park, which was acquired by the Irish Forest & Wildlife Service in 1959 and developed into public parkland and has attractions such as historic Cromwell's Bridge and the magnificent wishing well which has sweet water and, it is said, a good record on wishes fulfilled!

Cabra Castle is Idyllically set amidst sprawling green terrain and both locations offer the perfect setting for maybe a picnic or to just extend your day trip.

School tours for ages 4+ (groups of 35 or more )

• A) €6.00 for one and a half hours play
• B) €8.00 for 2 hours (plus jugs of unlimited juice)
• C) €11.00 lunch package is 2 hours in total and consists of one and a half hours play time, 30 minutes eating time for their lunch which includes chicken nuggets sausages chips & drinks.
