The Bia Bundoran food and drink festival will be a celebration of the food and drink offering in the seaside town of Bundoran, County Donegal. It will happen from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. This is the first time the festival has run and is bringing together the food trade in the town to promote themselves, their menu and some new dishes. Food providers in Bundoran will offer special taster menus, weekend discounts as well as some unique food and drink for the event.
There will be a Food & Foto tour where participants will be given a short course in food photography from the root to the plate, including tasting the food and taking that perfectly lit and framed snap for social media!
The weekend will also include wine tasting, a gin master class, a brewery tour of the nearby Donegal Brewing Company in Ballyshannon as well as a tour of the Bundoran Community Garden where attendees can find out how to grow their own organic vegetables in Bundoran and a family friendly foraging talk & wild plant display with Forager Fred.
A brand new limited edition beer – Roguey Pale Ale from nearby Donegal Brewing Company will be launched on the weekend and will be available exclusively in outlets across town.
The event will happen in various venues across town.
