A celebration on Grand Canal Dock with a weekend of entertainment and competitions.
Activities Include:
International Wakeboarding Extravaganza
This year we are delighted to be joined by some of the best wakeboarding talent from around Ireland. They will be putting on an incredible display so be sure not to miss it!
Best Trick Competition – Hosted by our friends in Wakedock
At 3 pm each day, our friends in Wakedock will be hosting a one-hour wakeboarding session. There will also be half an hour of free sessions available each day for spectators to give it a go!
Racin in the Basin
Teams of 4 people per raft and races of 6 rafts. Full training, lifejackets etc provided. The IUSRU can even provide you with a pre-built raft if DIY raft building isn’t your thing! Companies or groups for races from 2 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The Irish Underwater Search and Recovery Unit Charity Rubber Duck Race
At Just €5 per Duck or €20 for a flock of 5 Ducks, why not join in the fun on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd May at 4.30p.m. The proceeds go to a good cause as your Duck donation will go to The Irish Underwater Search and Recovery Unit. There will also be areas to Decorate Your Duck!
Bank of Ireland Floating Golf Challenge
The challenge is to hit a ball from Grand Canal Square approximately 100 yards across water land it on our especially designed and landscaped floating green and get it into the hole!
Come Try it Sessions (Kayaking)
The guys at East Wall Water Sports Centre will be on hand during the festival each day from 11 am until 5 pm to take you on the water to try out kayaking!
DJ, Music, Fun & Competitions
There is loads of fun to be had this year, with a DJ and music on both days of the Festival and lots of prizes to be won throughout the weekend.
Food & Craft Markets
There is an international food market with exciting, quality, fresh food for food lovers to delight in.
Kiddies Funfair Attractions
Not to be outdone by the water activities, there is lots to do on land too. There will be a kids funfair with plenty of rides for the kids to enjoy.
