Loughrea Medieval Festival’s interactive, fun and educational family free event will take place Friday 23rd, Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th of August, in Loughrea, County Galway as part of The Irish Walled Towns Network celebrations of National Heritage Week.
The town of Loughrea in County Galway is home to Ireland’s only surviving functioning medieval town moat. Join us as we celebrate the 6th annual Loughrea Medieval Festival. ‘Echoes of Our Past’ has something for all ages. ALL EVENTS ARE FREE over the festival weekend thanks to the partnership with Irish Walled Towns Network, Galway County Council and The Heritage Council.
