This year's Oughterard Show will take place on the 25th of August 2024.

It is believed that the first show to take place in Oughterard was held in 1911 at a location then known as “The Paddock” or Roe’s yard at the rear of present-day Kenny’s on Main Street.

Once more the Oughterard Show is gathering together its members and volunteers to organize the 59th show which takes place at Corribdale Grounds and Oughterard Community Centre on Sunday 25th August. 

Preparations are well under way and we hope to provide a varied, engaging and family fun day.

There are numerous classes for horses, ponies, cattle, sheep, dogs, poultry and domestic arts section.

A variety of children’s entertainment will be available on the day. Prizes galore to be won.
