7th June - 9th June, 2019
The Burren in Bloom festival encompasses farm walks, garden visits, demonstrations, cultural events, family events, informative talks and much, much more across the Burren to celebrate the summer blooms and their pollinators. Most of the events are free of cost but require pre-booking unless otherwise stated
The Festival will give people an understanding and appreciation of the Burren and its formation, and how it is a source of great botanical, archaeological, and cultural wealth with its unique wild flowers and ancient sites.
This year’s Burren in Bloom festival with a special focus on our pollinators promises to be our biggest and best yet. Come and explore how we can identify enjoy and help these important species at a time when many of them are in crisis. We are delighted to be teaming up with our friends at the National Biodiversity Data Centre who co-ordinate the All Ireland Pollinator Plan.
