Féile na Bealtaine celebrates its 24th anniversary in 2018 from Thursday 3rd – 7th May.
As always, there will be events for all tastes and age-groups. There will be street theatre, children’s events, music of all types, poetry recitals, art exhibitions, short films, long films, comedy acts, theatre, art exhibitions as well as a poetry trail.
The Irish year was divided into two parts: Ó Samhain go Bealtaine is ó Bealtaine go Samhain. Bealtaine – Good Fire, connected with the sun’s warmth and the consequent fertility of crops and cattle. We hope you can join us this May Bank Holiday weekend in welcoming the summer to the Dingle Peninsula and in sampling the exquisite cultural events our festival has to offer.
