The festival is linked to one of the biggest horsing events in the country, the Irish Derby, which takes place at the Curragh Racecourse.
Since 1978, Kildare Town has hosted their annual Festival in conjunction with the Irish Derby.
This year's events includes Carnival of Circus with Circus Gerbola, an exhibition of local artwork and photography, Meet the Legends Night, Street Striker Derby, Craft Fair, Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Day on 29th June a Family Day on the Square on Sunday, 30th and lots more.
