For the third year running, Kilkenny Library Service and Kilkenny Arts office have combined forces to present the Bookville Festival for families and children.
The festival which celebrates books, writing, illustration, comedy, art and much more and takes place from Monday October 7th to Monday October 14th 2019.
It promises to be an exhilarating programme of events and activities to suit all tastes and to appeal to all ages with visits from authors, illustrators, comedians, a meteorologist, a zoologist and an aeronautical engineer!
Authors include Dave Rudden, Joanna Donnelly, Dr Norah Patten, Juanita Browne, Chris Judge,Emer Conlon, and Gerry Boland. We are particularly thrilled to highlight our local authors and illustrators including Helena Duggan, Carol Ann Treacy, Olivia Goodwillie, Paula Leyden, Frank Salmon & Billy Doran.
Venues include Kilkenny city and county library branches, The Arts Office Dean Street, and Butler House.
