The Carrick Academy of Speech and Drama is managed and run by Lorna Pia Greene, a qualified speech and drama teacher with The Royal Irish Academy of Music. The Carrick Academy of Speech and Drama delivers expert tuition in Stage Craft, Poetry, Prose, Musical Theater, Acting to Camera, Mime, Public Speaking, Speech Development and Articulation, Improvisation and much more. Classes are held in the Gaelscoil Liatroma in Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim.
This year, after gaining inspiration from her younger Disney Musical Theater Class, Lorna Pia Greene will be transforming into Elsa from Frozen to take the children of County Leitrim, County Roscommon and surrounds on a journey of magic and pure imagination. Elsa's Christmas Celebration will take place at Gaelscoil Liatroma, Carrick on Shannon and included is 1 hour of frozen musical theater, Christmas drama games, Disney carols , Arts and crafts , a wrapped Christmas present and much more:
*Frozen Musical Theater sing-a-long including "Let it go" and "Do you want to Build a Snowman"
*Christmas Themed Drama Games
*Frozen Storytelling and Scene Acting
*Disney Christmas Carols
*Build a Frozen Snow Globe Craft Activity
* Wrapped Christmas Gift for each child attending
Please note that children attending must be aged 4 and over and must be toilet trained.
Parents can not attend during the drama activity due to venue capacity and current Covid regulations & restrictions.
A maximum of 15 children can attend per allocated Christmas Celebration session.
Children will be safely distanced in pods of 5 at each Christmas Celebration session.
