A 3 day celebration of Mayo's dark skies
Why not join us in Mayo on the Wild Atlantic Way in November 2019, as the 'Friends of Mayo Dark Skies' in Newport, Mulranny and Ballycroy host a three day feast of talks, workshops, walks and stargazing.
During the day time there are plenty of events including talks and workshops on astronomy, environmental matters, culture and heritage, science shows, photography, robotics workshops, planetarium shows and lots more.
Evening events will explore local heritage to complement the night-time theme, including torchlit walks and stargazing, storytelling, magic and music.
