The 79th Annual Agricultural Show takes place in Porchfields, Trim on Sunday, 1st September 2019.
The Royal Meath Show has exhibits of cattle, sheep, goats, poultry, horses, dogs, pigs and home industries which include farm produces, fruit, flowers, cookery sectin, knitting and needle work, handcraft, art and photography. We include Classes in each section for our junior competitors
With the demise of the agricultural shows in the last few years, we have diversified our show to be a more family friendly
We now have cookery demos with Celebrity Chef Adrian Martin, Artisan Food section and Artisan Craft section, we also have a Heritage Demo Area which includes shearing of sheep, weaving the wool and knitting. we also have milking the cow and butter making.
We have lots of attraction for families including our dog show, live music with John Hogan, Eddie Quinn and Eimear Furlong and a vintage area and a children area which will include small animals and trade stands and many other attraction
The Best Dressed Lady and Gentleman is very popular
Judging starts at 11am with main events at 12pm.
Admission is €10 per adult and there is free parking.
