The 4th annual Trim Salmon of Knowledge Festival is a free festival of family fun, music, arts, crafts, Irish language, workshops, health & wellbeing,dramatic performances incorporating the mythical story of the Salmon of Knowledge from the River Boyne.
Trim Salmon of Knowledge Festival is a FREE FUN FAMILY FESTIVAL taking place at the foot of Trim Castle along the beautiful bank of the River Boyne. Trim is a heritage town and the festival holds this at the heart of what goes on. Incorporating Arts, Crafts, Irish Language, Music, Story Telling, Workshops, Heatlh & Wellbeing, Sustainability and dramatic performance incorportaing the mytical story of the Salmon of Knowledge. Spread over two days the festival starts on Saturday August 22nd with the Boyne Adventure Race, a 35km and 50km multi-sport adventure race incorporating running, cycling, kayaking and trail running.
Now in it's 4th year, the festival has quickly become a highlight festival in Ireland's Ancient East and draws in massive crowds both nationally and internationally.
