The 2024 Sligo County Agricultural Show takes place on Saturday 20th July in Riverstown Community Park.
This annual event, held in our picturesque village since 1994, celebrates rural living and agricultural heritage. Our County Show was previously based in Sligo Town for over 90 years – that’s how the Showgrounds got its name!
Our Show is a great opportunity for farmers and families from the region to showcase their animals, homegrown vegetables, home baking and craft. It’s a great day out for competitors & visitors alike. Animal Classes include Horse, Pony, Donkey, Sheep, Cattle, Poultry, Dog & Cat, including 17 Classes that qualify for National Show Finals.
Other Sections include Bonny Baby, Little Miss Riverstown, Little Master Riverstown, Glamorous Granny, Greatest Grandad, Best Dressed Lady & Dashing Dude. Further attractions include the annual Connacht Gold Kitchen, complimenting our Domestic Arts Section. We are very grateful for Aurivo’s continuous support of our County Show.
With the tastiest of food, the finest of coffee and lots of stalls to browse, Riverstown Community Park is the place to be on Saturday 20th July. Our Show is always held on the third Saturday in July each year – a definite annual date for the diary. We look forward to welcoming you all on the day.
