The Annual Sligo International Choral Festival is wonderful weekend of competitions, concerts, workshops and more.

There are competitions for a variety of choirs – Equal Voices Female, Equal Voices Male, Gospel Choirs, Barbershop Quartets, School Choirs and more. 

On Friday 16th November there will be Primary and  Secondary School Workshops  facilitated b Veronica McCarron and Jonathan Davies-Wright.

Saturday 18th November is known as Acapella in the City, a fun way for choirs to perform for the people of Sligo throughout the city of Sligo in pubs, shopping centres, shops, barbers and restaurants.

Saturday night is the Gala Concert and Grand Prix, a musical spectacular not to be missed.

After the festivities of Saturday night, many singers will enter into the quiet of Sunday to sing in meditative contemplation in a number of Sligo churches.
