Clonmel Applefest is a four-day feast for the senses celebrating Clonmel's unique sense of place through its food, heritage and nature. We invite local residents, families, tourists and anyone with an interest or curiosity in heritage, food, farming, nature or crafts to enjoy our vibrant artistic programme.
This year, our theme 'If Walls Could Speak' will incorporate an exhibition and Spoken Word event at the South Tipperary Arts Centre, a visit from internationally renowned storyteller Liz Weir, our very popular Apple & Heritage Fair, an extended Bulmers Memory Lane and a town Biodiversity Trail, as well as the new Urban Orchard gathering. We will also have a number of food and heritage events with champions in the fields of apples and food growing, beekeeping, food production and preperation as well as artists and craftspeople using indigenous materials who are keen to share their knowledge and skills.
