1. Wicklow on Ice at Beyond the Trees Avondale
Running from now until January 19th, Wicklow on Ice offers the thrill of REAL ice skating against the stunning natural backdrop of Avondale, Rathdrum. With an 8,000 sq. ft. rink under a glass canopy, skaters can enjoy the excitement of outdoor skating with the comfort of being sheltered from winter weather. 2. Wicklow Christmas Market Returns!
Opening every Saturday and Sunday from now to December 22nd, the Wicklow Christmas Market returns with festive delights for all ages. New this year is the Jingle Bell Express Santa Experience—a holiday train ride with live elves, a snow tunnel, and a stop at Mrs. Claus’s kitchen before arriving at Santa’s Den for that all-important chat with Santa himself. With a revamped market layout and a larger selection of unique vendors, the Wicklow Christmas Market is the ultimate destination for seasonal shopping, festive treats, and family fun.
