Duffy's Circus

This year's incredible show heads back to Dublin with motorbike riders from Brazil, Mexican clowns, Kenyan acrobats, High-Speed Juggling and the 5th generation of the Duffy family, Tom & Jamie, with their award-winning and spectacular Wheel of Death!

Dublin Theatre Festival

The festival draws to a close this weekend with Miet Warlop's riotous Fruits of Labour in the Samuel Beckett, a study on the effects of big data in Josephine K and the Algorithms on the Peacock stage at The Abbey and the memorable We Come from Far Far Away in The Ark for children from age ten.

Farmaphobia

Halloween is not just for small children as one of the most popular, and frightening, events return next week with a journey around Causey Farm full of screams, laughter and some heart-pounding scary moments. 

Laugh Out Louth

The first Louth Comedy Festival aims to raise awareness of Mental Health Issues in the local community through comedy with all profits in aid of the Samaritans. Acts include Deirdre O Kane, Joe Rooney and many more.

Spirit of Meath Halloween Festival 

From Haunted Hills to Eerie Graveyards; Tour of Shadows to Friendly Witches & Spooks and Spells; Thriller Nights to Terrifying Terror Houses – The Spirits of Meath Halloween Festival - running until November 5th -  will delight & fright equally! This weekend you can pick your own Pumpkin at The Alright Pumpkin Patch or join in the fun in the Muck of Kells adventure race.

Open House Dublin

Buildings that aren’t usually accessible to the public open their doors for one weekend only, with tours provided by expert guides. First come, first served to visit The Abbey Theatre, Belvedere House, Customs House, Grand Canal Docks Houseboats, Leinster House and many more.

Gaelforce Howth Summit

An exciting 10km trail that takes you from Howth village to above to the top of the Howth head with its spectacular view across Dublin Bay.

World BBQ Championships

One hundred teams, six hundred competitors, one hundred and fifty judges and over forty thousand spectators eager to taste the entries. The People's Park in Limerick will be transformed into a World BBQ Festival filled with food & craft stalls, live music, kids entertainment and lots of BBQs!

Ennis Food Festival

There will be a Home Brew competition, a symposium with Rachel Allen, coffee tastings, gin tastings and, on Sunday afternoon, glór is transformed into a bustling food marketplace with lots of free samples, demos and family fun.

Wainfest

Wainfest is an annual week-long, countywide arts and book festival dedicated to children. There are 119 events organised countywide including workshops, family days, music and stories.

Belfast Arts Festival

The festival covers theatre, dance, classical and roots music, visual, film and digital arts and literature accompanied by outreach and educational events and runs until the 28th October.
