A selection of things to do around Ireland this weekend.
Since 1978, Kildare Town has hosted their annual Festival in conjunction with the Irish Derby. The week-long festival concludes this weekend with tribute bands to Guns ‘n’ Roses and Luke Kelly performing on The Square on Saturday, while local band The Chapel Hill Gang and Rob Strong close the festival on Sunday.
The Buncrana Music Festival returns this weekend with a spectacular line-up that includes dance music legends Ministry of Sound and rock legends Feeder.

SeaFest, Ireland’s national maritime festival, takes place in Galway this weekend. It's a fun, free summer festival for all ages and the programme of events includes a seafood fair, seafood cookery demonstrations with celebrity chefs and seafaring family fun.
There will be tours of ocean going vessels, leisure craft and boats, exhibits on marine life and lots more fun and educational activities.
County Longford Show and County Fair
One of Ireland's oldest shows takes place on Sunday in Lisnamuck. Alongside all the usual classes, there will be a dog show, photography, cookery and plenty of family entertainment.
