Belfast International Arts Festival
Belfast International Arts Festival runs until November 3rd with world class programme of theatre, performance art, visual art, dance and music. Events this weekend include the Open Arts Community Choir in the Great Hall, Stormont and The Lament for Art O’Leary in The Mac on Friday.
Another incredible Wexford Fringe comes to an end this weekend after over 300 events over 17 days. Events this weekend include Wild Goose Week at Wexford Wildfowl Reserve, Wexford Light Opera Society’s “Hits from the Musicals 2018 and tour of Johnstown Castle with the Wexford Historical Society and more.

The Titanic Quarter will again host the annual Funderland event in Belfast until November 4th, with all the usual thrills and spills to keep everyone entertained.

Wild Lights returns to Dublin Zoo next until 6th January with a magical night-time spectacular event, featuring giant colourful lanterns and illuminated animal sculptures inspired by wildlife.
CS Lewis was born in Belfast and the festival showcases his diverse works and strong connections to his childhood home. Hullabaloo Offaly Children's Arts Festival
Hullabaloo! takes place during the October mid-term break in Birr, Clara, Edenderry and libraries around Offaly and is the biggest midlands festival of Theatre and Arts for children.
Events taking place include A Winter Wish and The Moody Sky in Birr Theatre & Arts Centre on Saturday, The Feathered Crown and Step Out Dance in the Clara Family Resource Centre on Saturda and Junk Drumming and DIY Gamelan in Edenderry Youth Café and lots, lots more.

International Uilleann Pipeing Day
The eight International Uilleann Piping Day takes place on Saturday 3rd November and is great opportunity to introduce people to the instrument. The are lots of different events throughtou the country and you can join Na Píobairí Uilleann at Collins Barracks the next day, in a special event to mark the day with live performances at 3pm and 4pm, on Sunday 4th.
Watergate Theatre | Goldilocks & The Three Bears Sing-A-Long
On Friday in Kilkenny, the much loved fairy-tale comes to the stage. The popular story takes a few twists and turns along the way, with other new puppet characters and hopefully a happy ever after.
A three day celebration in Mayo as the 'Friends of Mayo Dark Skies' in Newport, Mulranny and Ballycroy host a three day feast of talks, workshops, walks and stargazing. Events inlude Planetarium Show in Mulranny, Mars Lander Challenge Workshop in Newport and Parent and Child Model Rocket Workshop in Ballycroy.
The 10th Annual Cork and Kerry Food Market takes place on Saturday where you can taste, shop and explore the best food and drink produce Cork and Kerry has to offer. There will also be cookery demos from The Happy Pear and Kevin Dundon.
