axis is an arts centre and a resource for the community and its city.
We identify artistic excellence in and provide an opportunity for, artistic experiences of an international standard in Ballymun at the heart of the northside of Dublin.
axis has hosted work from local, national and international theatre, dance, music, comedy and visual artists, as well as being a resource for amateur and community arts organisations to perform.
axis hosts various classes every week including drama, music, art and dance.
axis' arts development work provides access to both participation and development in all areas of the arts.
This is done through our work in arts in education, youth arts, artists development, multi disciplinary art classes, arts projects, early years projects, and development projects in community settings among many others.
