The Wallaby Woods Experience
Wallaby Woods is a family run open farm set in 16 acres of woodland incorporating a well-stocked lake.
We have over 60 species to see, including Pygmy African hedgehogs (as seen on TV3), horsefield tortoises, Black swans, snow owls, emus, Albino Bennett Wallabies, Parma Wallabies & lots more.
We encourage all our visitors to get up close and personal with the animals in our interactive petting area.
When you get to Wallaby Woods, why not visit our Exhibition area\petting shed and play and learn about all of our small cuddly animals in the Interactive Petting Area. This is fun, educational and suitable for children of all ages.
Playtime
We’re not just about seeing the animals and exploring the woods here in Donadea.
We’re also about having serious fun, whether its playing in the main playground on the climbing frames, balance beams or for the more adventurous, hurtling down the zip-line.
For the smaller ones we have have a playground just over the bridge that suit them down to the ground, and for the sporty ones we have a football pitch near the BBQ area that’s guaranteed to provide loads of fun
